"Young intellectuals for education" contributes to the cause of educational innovation

Five works and initiatives have successfully surpassed over 500 works and initiatives participating in the "Young intellectuals for education" program in 2019 to win a total value of VND 500 million.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training, Thien Long Group and the Youth Newspaper held a ceremony to review the "Young intellectuals for education" program 2019.

Launched in the 2016-2020 period, the program aims to encourage union members, especially young intellectuals under 35, to contribute to the cause of educational innovation and training through works and initiatives in innovating effective teaching methods, creating teaching and learning tools and research works in the field of educational science.

The programme drew the participation of 539 works and initiatives across the country. In which, there are 274 works and initiatives on renovating teaching methods; 141 works on creating teaching and learning tools and 124 research works in the field of educational science.

From 2016 to 2018, the program honored a total of 40 works and initiatives. In particular, many works and initiatives have been applied practically, bringing practical efficiency and attracting the attention of students, teachers and investors as well as the whole society.

For example, the project on the need for the introduction of gender education into schools published 1,500 books first. The Young Publishing House has issued reprints twice with 7,500 copies.

The smart light technology initiative attracts the attention of domestic and foreign investors. A manufacturing plant is being built in Ho Chi Minh City./.
