Young talents in science and technology honoured

Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong on December 27th met nine outstanding young talents who won the science and technology awards for youth titled “Golden Sphere” and 20 outstanding females in the technique field in 2017.

In 2017, the “Golden Sphere” Awards were presented to nine outstanding young talents in five fields, including information technology and communications; medical and pharmaceutical technology; biotechnology; environmental technology; and new materials technology.

20 outstanding females honoured for involvement in scientific study in IT, electricity, electronics, and mechanics and their active role in the Youth Union and other social activities.
The Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly appreciated the efforts of the young talents. She said that the Party and State have always taken care for training and cultivating high-quality human resources.
Ms. Phong also called the young talents to continue to nurture their passion for scientific research and contribute their youthful energy to national development./.
