Urgently preventing avian flu H5N1 and H7N9
As avian flu is undergoing complex development in Europe, China, Cambodia and some countries in the region, on February 20th, the Preventive Health Department under the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the emergency operations centre (EOC) met to discuss measures preventing avian flu, especially flu A (H7N9).
ADB and SHB strike deal to provide trade loans in Vietnam

(CPV) - ADB and Sai Gon - Ha Noi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) signed a Revolving Credit Agreement (RCA) on February 21st 2017. Under the agreement ADB’s Trade Finance Program (TFP) will provide a USD20 million direct loan to SHB to support pre-shipment and post-shipment trade transactions.
