A book entitled “Waging peace in Vietnam” that reflects the mass objection against the war by the US in Vietnam between 1968 and 1972 made its first public appearance in Ho Chi Minh City on September 20th.

Eight people dead or missing due to flooding

According to an early report on September 13th of the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, heavy rain and flooding from September 9th to 12th caused serious damage to people and property. Eight people were left dead or missing. 95 houses were damaged. 1,516 hectares of rice were affected.
