At the event, organizers presented 165 bicycles and five education packets from AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd (VND20 million each), worth VND400 million in total, to local disadvantaged students.

Quang Nam is the seventh beneficiaries of this year's program after Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces.

The journey will be organized in 12 events in 2018, hoping to award 2,700 bicycles and 100 education packets from AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd to poor children nationwide.

AIA Chief Executive Wayne Besant said the program aims to give a helping hand to less fortunate children in the nation so that they can continue their schooling and gain better futures. It is also hoped that more social organizations and enterprises will pay close attention to those under privileged children./.
