The flats were built on an area of 13 hectares in Dinh Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city, by the Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (BECAMEX IDC), including 17 building blocks, providing a usable area of 30 square metres each, with spacious internal traffic roads connected with surrounding industrial zones and residential and urban areas.

So far over 1,000 customers have signed contracts at VND90-150 million each.

Buyers will pay the money by installments and are allowed to borrow money from banks.

According to Nguyen Van Hung, BECAMEX IDC General Director, the social housing was built synchronously in connection with traffic infrastructure, power and water supply, cultural and social infrastructure, recreation centre, kindergartens and pre-schools.

Statistics from the Binh Duong provincial Department of Construction show that by late 2016, the province put into operation 25 social housing projects, providing nearly 492,000 square metres of floor, and satisfying the accommodation demand of some 40,000.

In addition, some 200 businesses investing in workers’ housing have completed 270,000 square metres of floor, meeting accommodations for 47,000 others./.
