BSR promotes “paying debts of gratitude” movement

The Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical (BSR) JSC has organized a series of activities to show gratitude to the generation of elders for their sacrifices for the cause of national defense and construction on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of war invalids and fallen soldiers day (July 27th, 1947).

Accordingly, the BSR Veterans Association, in collaboration with the grassroots labor union and youth union, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Hero Mothers, war invalids and sick soldiers in 24 communes in Binh Son district and Tran Phu precinct, Quang Ngai province.

They also offered incense to pay gratitude at martyrs’ cemeteries in areas surrounding the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant so as to raise the awareness of each BSR staff in maintaining and embellishing projects commemorating heroes and fallen soldiers.

On this occasion, the BSR labor union organized “Returning to the roots” journeys for outstanding employees to visit historical sites such as Vung Chua -Yen island, Hien Luong bridge, Vinh Moc tunnel, Truong Son national cemetery, National Road 9 cemetery and Quang Tri ancient citadel.

The move aims to teach the revolutionary tradition, patriotism, national pride and responsibility for the youth in building and defending the country in the current period./.
