Cao Bang province seizes 10kg of crystal methamphetamine

Border guards from the Ly Van Border Post and Ha Lang district police, Cao Bang province, on June 11th arrested Nong Van Dan, born in 1982 from Lung Nam hamlet, Dong Loan commune, Ha Lang district, for illegally storing and transporting drugs.

Examining Dan’s home, the authorities seized 10kg of crystal methamphetamine. After further investigation, the Ly Van border post also arrested Dan’s accomplice Hoang Van Cuong, born in 1997, also from Lung Nam hamlet.
The two men confessed that they had bought the drugs from China into Vietnam to sell for profit.
Cao Bang province police are continuing to investigate the case./.
