Textbooks in the Ede, Jrai, Bahnar and K’ho languages issued by the Ministry of Education and Training have been used in primary education, while the local curriculum in ethnic minority language teaching has been used in secondary education.

From the start of the 2018-2019 school-year, Dak Lak province has provided new textbooks in the Ede language free for over 13,100 pupils and 133 teachers across 106 primary schools.

Meanwhile Kon Tum, Dak Nong and Lam Dong provinces have also earmarked hundreds of billions of VND for textbooks and teaching equipment.

At present, tens of thousands of ethnic minority primary and secondary pupils in the Central Highlands are being taught the Ede, Jrai, Bahnar, K’hor and M’nong languages./.
