Country strives to increase trained laborer rate to 60-62%

In 2018, the country created jobs for nearly 1.65 million laborers, accounting for 103% of the year’s plan, including over 1.5 million jobs created domestically, the Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs has reported.

In 2019, the labor sector will work with localities to create jobs for some 100,000 ones through projects using the national fund for employment; increase the quality of vocational training; and provide employment consultancy and support to some 2 million people.

Additionally, by the end of this year, the country will strive to increase the rate of trained laborers to 60-62%, and send over 100,000 laborers to work abroad, while reducing household poverty and near-poverty, and have all policy beneficiaries’ families living out of poverty./.
