The activity aims to respond to the emulation movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one left behind” launched by the Prime Minister.

The cows presented are Sind cross-bred ones, weighing 140 kilograms or more and being more than 14 months old, and recognized as good breeding animals by the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

They are expected to help poor and nearly-poor families, especially those in remote and mountainous areas, boost economic development and look towards sustainable poverty reduction.

Speaking during the cow presenting ceremony, Pham Quang Hiep, Deputy President of the Association, noted that over the past years, apart from encouraging business members to accelerate production and fulfill duties with the State and laborers, his unit had raised high its sense of responsibility in realizing social policies in the province, contributing to increasing local poverty reduction and raising the image and prestige of the businesses./.
