A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security on July 25th worked with Da Nang Fire and Rescue Police Department on fire prevention and fighting, and rescue plans during APEC 2017.

Colonel Tran Dinh Chung, Director of the Da Nang Fire and Rescue Police Department, said that aiming to ensure safety of the APEC 2017 Summit Week, fire police reviewed, revised and supplemented 138 fire fighting plans and built 17 plans to ensure security and safety at APEC 2017 facilities and side activities.
The Department also organized 93 training plans, especially practicing seven fire fighting and rescue methods with the participation of many forces at hotels and buildings such as Da Nang Administration Centre, Novotel, Hyatt Regency, and Intercontinental.
19 locations and hotels scheduled for the event were inspected and will be checked regularly.
16 training courses on fire prevention and fighting were organized for 1,266 trainees of 400 units and projects in the city.
In addition, the Department trained and instructed fire escape and fighting skills for nearly 12,000 workers and local residents./.
