At the 22nd Lam District (Hanoi) Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, first direct-elected district-level secretary in Hanoi reached 99.54% of vote.

The congress completed the election of the Executive Board of the Party Committee and directly elected secretary of the district Party Committee at the congress.
As a result, 41 candidates were elected to the 22nd Gia Lam District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, with the number of votes from 58.9% to 99.09%.
Mr. Le Anh Quan, Secretary of Gia Lam district Party Committee and Chairman of Gia Lam district People's Committee, was re-elected as secretary of the district Party Committee with the votes of 218/219 (99.54%).
The Executive Board of Gia Lam district Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, held the first session to elect the Standing Board of the district Party Committee, Vice Secretary of the district Party Committee, the Inspection Commission of the district Party Committee and Chairman of Inspection Commission of the district Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025./.
