The target aims to construct houses, kindergartens, supermarkets and cultural and sports constructions in export processing and industrial zones; increase the leadership of the Party and the action of authorities and political-social organizations to increase the living standards for workers in export processing and industrial zones; and heighten the position of trade unions in the relationship with Party organizations and authorities.

It targets to complete 10 institutions from now until 2018 and put into use an additional 40 institutions in export processing and industrial zones in the 2018-2020 period.

Under the project, by 2030, institutions of trade organizations are expected to be built in all export processing and industrial zones, thus raising the cultural and spiritual life for trade unions’ members and workers.

One of the solutions that the project puts forth is that provincial and city People’s Committees will have to make favorable conditions in terms of land and administrative procedures to invest in housing projects for workers in export processing and industrial zones, in order to help them improve accommodations.

They are also requested to increase the quality of workers’ housing by ensuring technical and social infrastructure in terms of traffic, healthcare, education and culture in export processing and industrial zones./.
