Diverse solutions to help AO victims

The Agent Orange detoxification centre of Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defence and the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange (VAVA) worked together on June 21st to increase coordination in treating AO victims.

The two sides discussed cooperative activities on giving medical check-ups, selecting AO victims receiving support for detoxification, seeking assistance and international cooperation in supporting AO victims, proposing mechanisms for AO victims’ detoxification, and completing coordination between the two sides in support of AO victims.

Being the leading detoxification site of the army in the south, the centre meets the requirements in professional doctors, modern medical equipment, medicine and the world’s advanced treatment therapy, to provide effective rehabilitation for AO victims. 

VAVA committed to make its utmost efforts to support AO victims nationwide, thus giving rehabilitation to AO victims and improving their health situation./.
