On October 30th, the Security and Order Subcommittee of Party Congresses at all levels and the 13th National Party Congress convenes the first meeting, chaired by Senior Lieutenant-General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
The Security and Order Subcommittee comprises 32 members, led by Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam.
Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam affirmed that the Party Congress at all levels towards the 13th National Party Congress is an important political event of the country and an extensive political activity nationwide.
He asked members of the Subcommittee and leaders of police units and localities to promote their role and responsibilities in closely and regularly directing the protecting of security for the political event.
They should focus on grasping the actual situation and internal political protection; analyzing and forecasting the reality so as not to be passive. Police of departments and localities should actively detect, fight and counteract destructive plans of hostile forces.
The Deputy Minister also required regular information exchange and report to timely solve arising situations while stressing further effective coordination between the Ministry of Public Security, member units of the Subcommittee and agencies, ministries and departments of localities in order to contribute to the overall success of the Party Congresses at all levels and the 13th National Party Congress./.
