Accordingly, the rice will be allocated to Ha Nam (over 1,344 tons), Quang Binh (nearly 2,000 tons), Binh Dinh (700 tons), Lai Chau (over 713 tons) and Kon Tum (over 466 tons).

The Prime Minister requested the provincial People’s Committee to receive and wisely use the amount of rice. In case of difficulties after the assistance, localities will be responsible for reporting to the Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, to submit to the Prime Minister for continued support.

In 2015, these regions saw particularly dramatic adverse weather and natural disasters, especially with the El Nino pattern which caused drought on a large scale and had a serious influence on people’s lives.

The rice from the Prime Minister aimed to assist the people during this difficult period of time. Earlier, rice was allocated to Lang Son province (over 324 tons) and Dien Bien province (over 1,220 tons)./.
