As many as 40 outstanding young followers of Uncle Ho’s teachings in the northern province of Hai Duong were honoured during a meeting held on May 9th.

The event is part of activities to mark the 129
th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19
th) and 50
th anniversary since the realization of Uncle Ho’s testament.
The honoured youngsters are those who gain excellent achievements in academic results, scientific research, production and business, administrative management, security and defence, social order, sports and arts.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee Luong Van Cau confirmed that when he was alive, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to fostering youngsters as the next generation for national liberation, construction and protection. “Obeying Uncle Ho’s teachings, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has always considered studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style a key content of operation,” he said.
He confirmed that the honour of outstanding young followers of Uncle Ho’s teachings helped spread good values in society and transmit significant messages for the young generation to follow.
So far nearly 1,000 outstanding young followers of Uncle Ho’s teacings have been honoured at different levels, marking a confident, dynamic, creative and enthusiastic young generation donating their strength to the nation./.
