Hanoi increases activities realizing laborers’ rights

Increasing activities realizing laborers’ rights and legitimate interests is one of the key tasks by the Hanoi city Confederation of Labor in an attempt to promote the results reached during the workers’ month and the action month on working safety and hygiene (May).

Accordingly, trade unions will continue to work closely with authorized agencies to inspect the implementation of working and trade union laws in businesses; and hold dialogues between laborers and leaders of Party organizations, authorities and businesses, to deal with any possible obstacles that concern workers.
In addition, they will admit more members to the organization, and increase the introduction of outstanding members to the Party.
In the 2017 workers’ month, the city Confederation of Labor honored 100 good workers; signed deals with four businesses on caring for trade union members; gave presents to 200 disadvantaged laborers and to 85 extremely disadvantaged trade union members.
Trade unions in the city have proposed labor users to organize 1,015 activities with the participation of over 37,600 workers to say thanks to laborers, in recognition of their contributions to businesses, localities and society./.
