Ho Chi Minh city carries out emulation campaign to welcome Party Congresses

The Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee has agreed to organize an emulation campaign to welcome the Party Congresses at district level and the city’s 11th Party Congress, looking towards to the 13th National Party Congress.

The emulation campaign will last 200 days, from March 8th to September 23rd.
Accordingly, the campaign activities will focus on 10 contents, including encouraging residents not to litter on roads and canals for a clean and less flood-prone city; increase the leadership over the State management efficiency on construction for reducing illegal construction; build the city into a smart city; speed up the implementation of the No.1 and No.2 railway routes; accelerate the project on prevention of climate change related tidal flooding; strive to announce the planning of the Highly Interactive Innovation District (HIID) in the city’s southern region; and carry out bidding for some 5 projects at the Thu Thiem new urban area.
Meanwhile, the city People’s Committee and Party Committee’s commissions emulate to develop projects and planning of the 3 breakthrough programs and a key program for the development of the city in the 2020-2030 period, to be submitted to the city’s 11th Party Congress.
Additionally, drastic activities will be carried out to apply the year 2020’s themed “The year increases cultural events and builds urban advanced lifestyle./.
