Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the city People’s Committee, confirmed that the city was determined to maintain order.

Over two months after the effort to bring order to pavements and roads across 24 districts, the situation has improved. In some districts, leaders directly oversaw the establishment of order.

However, in some places, the pavements and roads are being re-encroached, forcing the city leaders to direct districts to continue to maintain order and carry out solutions to support the lives of affected residents.

“The city is determined to deal with any behaviour encroaching the pavements and roads in accordance with legal foundations,” said Chairman Phong./.
