Ho Chi Minh City has first hospital specialized in Covid-19 treatment

A delegation of the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Health on March 12th worked with the Director of Can Gio district Healthcare Center and agreed on a plan to change the function of the Can Gio district Healthcare Center into a hospital specializing in Covid-19 treatment with 300 beds.

In a short time, the Covid-19 treatment area in Can Gio district Healthcare Centre will be completely isolated from the examination and emergency departments of the centre, so as not to interrupt treatment and emergency care for people in the area.
Cases requiring hospitalization for treatment will be temporarily transferred to Nha Be district hospital or other hospitals of the city until the epidemic is over./.
