The Ho Chi Minh city Confederation of Labor on June 18th held a meeting to honour 259 outstanding individuals and collectives who have realized well the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, as well as the emulation campaign on good and creative labourers, from 2016 to 2017.

Of which, the confederation praised 55 collectives and 77 individuals who well studied and followed President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style; 50 examples of “Good persons - Good deeds” and 77 outstanding individuals in the emulation campaign on good and creative labourers.
Addressing the meeting, Tran Kim Yen, President of the city Confederation of Labor, said that realizing well the significance of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, over the past years, trade unions at all levels have increased the dissemination of Uncle Ho’s ideology among officials and labourers, thus building up plans to follow Uncle Ho’s example that suit each agency and sector, practising thrift, preventing corruption, increasing working morality, spirit and attitude, and promoting emulation campaigns.
Over the past one year, 742 works and products as well as 1,663 technical initiatives have been implemented, gaining a benefit of VND404 billion, making active contribution to the stable development of businesses, and confirming the progress in laborers’ qualifications and skills.
Many outstanding achievements have been brought about by the active awareness through studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, according to Ms Yen./.
