Ho Chi Minh city inaugurates start-up space for youth

The Ho Chi Minh city Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 28th inaugurated the construction of a space for youth’s start-ups on Hai Ba Trung street in the city’s district 1.

Being built on an area of 500 square metres, the space has a studio model design with working rooms for each business. Fifteen rooms equipped with conveniences are expected to be constructed

According to Truong Ly Hoang Phi, Director of the Business Start-up Support Centre, the offices will be operated using advanced technology, and open around the clock, making favourable conditions for students and youngsters to come to work.

“This will be a professional working place for start-up ideas to pervade,” said Ms Phi, adding that it will also be a solution in the system of solutions supporting youngsters by the city Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation.

The project, which is expected to be completed in two months, will provide start-up inspired youngsters a trusted address for developing their ideas.

Over the past time, the start-up space in Ben Nghe ward, district 1 has attracted a large number of youngsters to come for work, exchanges and idea development./.
