Ho Chi Minh city increases rejection information of distorted arguments

To Dai Phong, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, on June 15th carried out a directive by the Secretariat, on continuing to renew and increase external information, and a Politburo conclusion on the strategy on developing external information in the 2016-2021 period in the city.

Mr. Phong stressed that external information is an important part of external affairs and ideological work, as it is an information channel for the world, international friends and overseas Vietnamese to clearly understand the Party guidelines and State policies, as well as Vietnam’s viewpoints on international and regional issues.
According to him, external information by 2020 targets to continue to reinforce the image of a Vietnam that loves peace, is undergoing a renewal process and developing dynamically and stably, which helps increase Vietnam’s prestige, position and image in the region and in the world.
Regarding the strategy to develop external information until 2021, Mr. Phong said that the city would increase fighting wrong and distorted arguments and information by opportunists and hostile forces./.
