Earlier, the dissemination of the directive was carried out in diverse ways. Accordingly, the district Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education composed documents for reporters and communicators while the contents of the directive were posted on online pages and bulletins. So far 92% of Party members of 100% of Party organizations have joined meetings disseminating the contents of the directive, and mastered the contents of two works by President Ho Chi Minh, one on increasing revolutionary morality and cleaning individualism, and the other about adjusting working lifestyle.
Party cells have brought the contents of the directive into regular meetings of residential areas, contests and art performances.
More and more followers of Uncle Ho’s teachings have been reported in the district. In 2016, 28 collectives and 38 individuals were honoured by the district Party Committee, while the figures in 2017 were 30 and 60, respectively. At the grass-roots level, 167 collectives and 382 individuals were honoured, while the district People’s Committee praised over 200 examples and 163 officers who had gained excellent working achievements.
One of the examples is Vu Thuy Nga, Secretary of the urban area No. 2 Party Committee, who has spent nearly 20 years assisting poor families, and each year mobilizes over VND65 million to give scholarships, presents and medical insurance cards to poor people.
Le Van The, Director of the district Preventive Health Centre, wholeheartedly cares for people’s health by improving the vaccination process, preventing epidemics and ensuring food safety.
By increasing the following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, the district Sports and Physical Training Centre has helped 95% of children know how to swim, mobilized over VND300 million to assist disadvantaged people, presented charitable house worth VND40 million to poor families, and spent VND200 million buying water containers for disadvantaged farmers in Ben Tre province.
Meanwhile, the Luong The Vinh high school Party Committee has held contests on President Ho Chi Minh’s example, combined teaching of the example in literature and history classes, and developed action plans for communities./.
