Ho Chi Minh city supports stock breeding waste treatment projects

The Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee has issued a regulation supporting the construction of stock breeding waste treatment facilities in the 2017-2020 period.

The regulation will be applied to building or upgrading biological gas or buffer constructions to treat breeding waste in Thu Duc district and districts 9 and 12.

The implementation of the regulation aims to reduce environmental pollution in the breeding industry, contributing to building new-style rural areas that have modern socio-economic infrastructure.

According to the Office of the city People’s Committee, breeder is allowed to borrow VND12 million for each waste treatment facility built, and VND6 million for each repaired, interest free for 36 months.

In addition, the city will support 50% of each biological gas and buffer construction at VND5 million for each breeder.

The regulation will go into effect from August 10th./.
