Hon Khoi salt flats belong to Ninh Hoa town, some 45 kilometers from Khanh Hoa province’s Nha Trang city. The salt flats, covering hundreds of hectares, are among the largest salt flats of Vietnam.

Women often transport salt from the field.
The hard work is heavily dependent on the weather. The hotter the weather is, the more conducive for salt production.
A salt season often lasts from March to September.
