The Bao Loc city Association of Victims of Agent Orange in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on August 10th put into operation a centre on detoxification steam baths and rehabilitation for AO victims.

Before receiving steam baths for detoxification, the victims will be provided with medical check-ups and 12 types of imported vitamins and minerals for improving their health and immunity.
Each detoxification program, which will last for 21 days, will help the victims eliminate toxic substances inside their bodies through sweat.
After beginning operation, the centre will satisfy detoxification demand for some 200 victims per year.
This is the first centre in Lam Dong province and the 7th across the country which is capable providing steam baths for detoxification and rehabilitating AO victims.
There are currently over 3,000 AO victims./.
