Man with nine cake of heroin detained

Kha A Cha was detained when he was transporting over 3kg of heroin in Phu Khe commune, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province on April 11th.

The information was released by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
Cha was born in 1974 and resides in Hang Kia commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province.
The authorities seized a black handbag containing nine cakes of heroin, weighing 3.24kg.
The man confessed that he was hired to transport the heroin for a strange man from Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province to Bac Ninh province for consumption and he would be paid VND5 million per each cake of heroin.
The case was handed over to the Police Department for Investigation of Drug-related Crimes under the Bac Ninh Police for further investigation./.
