Nearly 7,000 youngsters provided with start-up training

Nearly 7,000 youngsters joined a national online training course on supporting start-ups which was organised from March 29th-April 12th by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation.

Accordingly, the training course helped Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation cadres and members have better understanding about start-ups; and information about experts, consultants, funds and capital sources for start-ups. Additionally, the trainees’ questions on start-ups were answered by the youth organizations’ leaders and experts.

Nearly 7,000 youngsters joined the training course, more than 4,800 wrote summaries, and more than 3,500 participated in a contest. Five with the most excellent results were awarded certificates of merit.

Addressing a meeting to review the course on April 12th, Standing Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the training course had provided a large amount of information on start-ups for youngsters across the country.

He expressed his hope that Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation cadres would promote their role in supporting youngsters’ start-ups at the grass-roots level, and being a bridge for tackling difficulties during youngsters’ start-ups.

The start-up nation program as well as the program supporting youngsters’ start-ups was officially launched in 2016./.
