Over VND355 billion to be spent on revolutionary contributors’ presents

The Prime Minister has agreed to authorize the Ministry of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) to submit revolutionary contributors’ presents for the State President’s approval in marking the 71st anniversary of the Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27th).

MOLISA proposes two levels of presents, VND400,000 and VND200,000 each.

Accordingly, presents worth VND400,000 each are to be provided for Vietnamese heroic mothers who enjoy monthly allowance; wounded soldiers and those who lost 81% or more of their working ability and enjoy monthly allowance; resistance war activists infected with toxic chemicals or those who lost 81% or more of their working ability and enjoy monthly allowance; and martyrs’ relatives who enjoy monthly allowance.

Meanwhile, presents worth VND200,000 each are to be given to wounded soldiers and those who lose 80% or less of their working ability, or those who enjoy monthly allowances, resistant war activists infected with toxic chemicals or those who lose 80% or less of their working ability and enjoy monthly allowance; martyrs’ relatives and those who worship martyrs.

As scheduled, over VND355.4 billion will be spent on the presents./.
