During a meeting with the press held on January 16th, the NFVC reported that assistance had focused on giving heart, eye and lip treatment and operations for children, besides giving water supply, recreation constructions, scholarships and school supplies to the children.

Continuing its efforts, the NFVC targets to mobilize VND110.5 billion to assist 120,000 children in 2018.

According to the NVFC, at 20h30 on January 21st, it will work with Vietnam Television to organize a performance “Spring for children” broadcast live on VTV2, an attempt to mobilize capital (around VND90 billion) for poor children during the lunar New Year festival. Since its initiation in 2008, hundreds of billions of VND have been donated to support children in need./.
