Additionally, the provincial People’s Committee has issued a plan in realization of the sustainable poverty reduction program by adopting the preferential credit program worth over VND615 billion for 26,188 poor and nearly-poor families, pupils and students’ loans, and repair of 488 inadequate houses.

According to Phan Dinh Phung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, the capital will be invested in important constructions and poor families, especially those in extremely disadvantaged circumstances or ethnic minority-inhabited regions.

This is part of the province’s efforts to reduce the poverty rate to 5.65% by late 2018./.
