Presenting gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers and wounded soldiers on National Day

The Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper has visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers and wounded soldiers in Duy Tien district, the Red river delta province of Ha Nam on the occasion of National Day (September 2nd).

Deputy Minister of Labur-Invalids and Social Affairs Huynh Van Ty inquired after Vietnamese heroic mothers and wounded soldiers at Duy Tien Sanatorium for Wounded Soldiers. He hoped they would overcome physical and spiritual pain to live happily and healthy and become examples for the next generations.

On this occasion, the Organizing Board presented gifts to two Vietnamese heroic mothers, including mother Vu Thi Tham, 89 years old and Vu Thi Tuat, 97 years old; visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Luong Thi Van; presented gifts to 60 wounded soldiers to at Duy Tien Sanatorium for Wounded Soldiers.

In the framework of the program to celebrate the National Independence Day, the organizing board also presented 50 scholarships to outstanding poor students in Tan Phong precinct, district 7, Ho Chi Minh city; visited and supported the Fund for the Poor under the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hanoi.

Especially, an art performance titled “August autumn” will take place in Hanoi on August 31st.

Earlier, editorial board, cadres, reporters and editors of the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper and groups, individuals, businessmen and enterprises that accompany with the organizing board organized an achievement-report ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh and visited his Mausoleum./.
