The Quang Nam provincial Election Committee on May 25th announced the results of the election of deputies to the 14th NA and People’s Council at all levels term 2016-2021.
Accordingly, the election took place successfully as it was really a festive day of the people.
Among 101 candidates, 60 people were elected as deputies to the provincial People’s Council.
Of which, 12 deputies are female, five are ethnic minorities, two are under 35 years old, two are non-Party members, 19 are re-elected, one is a religious follower, 42 have university degrees, and 18 have higher education certificates.
The deputy with the highest percentage of the vote (99.44%) is Ms Huynh Thi Thuy Dung, Secretary of the Bac Tra My district Party Committee./.
