Soc Trang province puts into use high capacity waste water treatment plant

The management board of the Soc Trang province’s industrial parks has said the province will put into use a construction to upgrade the waste water treatment plant in the An Nghiep industrial park which helps increase the plant’s productivity from 4,000 to 10,000 cubic metres per day.

Invested with VND102 billion, the project will proceed using advanced technologies, ensuring that industrial waste water is adequately treated before being discharged into the environment.

The project holds important significance in treating all volumes of waste water from enterprises in the An Nghiep industrial park, and completely dealing with environmental pollution caused by waste water.

Nguyen Van Kiet, Deputy Head of the management board of the Soc Trang province’s industrial parks, said that the construction will be put into use in October./.
