At the central level, there will be 9 large activities to mark the great President’s birthday, including a national celebration ceremony, a national workshop, an exchange of outstanding followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s example, and the ceremony to award cultural, arts and press works on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

In particular, a broadcast live television bridge linking Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh city and Dong Thap on May 19th requires thorough preparations for the highest quality of art. In Ho Chi Minh city, Head of the city Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue has asked the city Department of Culture and Sports as well as the city Television to develop the contents of the program so that it can bring the great significance of the 130th birthday of Uncle Ho. Meanwhile, district level cultural centers will be responsible for organizing art performances to mark Uncle Ho’s birthday in combination with welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels.

Mr. Khue has stressed that the programs must help confirm the stature, significance and vitality of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology. “Press agencies should focus on clarifying agencies’ changes thanks to studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style; and reflecting the atmosphere of Party Congresses at the grassroots level,” he said, adding that literature and arts associations should focus on publishing works on marking the great President’s birthday, and highlighting the results of studying and following his example over the past years./.
