The northern mountainous province of Yen Bai has held an art performance marking the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to the province (September 25th).

Accordingly, on September 25
th, 1958, thousands of cadres and people from across the province happily came to a stadium to welcome Uncle Ho in a merry and warm atmosphere. During the meeting, Uncle Ho urged the province’s residents to unite and create strength in both the struggle for national independence and in production, and remove backward practices for better cultural life.
Speaking during the performance, Pham Thi Thanh Tra, 12th PCC member, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council, said the anniversary is a chance for the province’s residents to reinforce the trust and national pride, in order to continue to build a strong and pure Party and political system; accelerate emulation movements; increase people’s material and spiritual lives; and determine to boost rapid and sustainable development in the province, contributing to the country’s renewal, integration and development, for a rich people, strong, democratic, equitable and advanced nation.
Besides, there is an art performance highlighted the northwestern region’s cultural identity with the participation of famous artists./.
