The event was co-organised by Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper, the Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Millions of Vietnamese people sacrificed their youth and lives for national independence, freedom and reunification; brought with them injuries for their whole remaining lives; and millions of martyrs’ relatives never met their beloved heroes again. To mark the service of martyrs, wounded soldiers and revolutionary contributors, contribute to easing the pain of these great sacrifices, the Party, State and people have carried out a wide range of programs, policies and movements. In response to these activities, Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper has organized the art performance for many years.

First held in 2008, the art performance organising board has encouraged society, business and individuals to assist the lives of martyrs’ families and wounded soldiers, Vietnamese heroic mothers and disadvantaged revolutionary contributors. Over the past 10 years, VND40 billion has been mobilized to present over 10,000 savings books, build nearly 500 charitable houses, give 560 cows and 3,500 scholarships to wounded soldiers’ and martyrs’ families, Vietnamese heroic mothers, revolutionary contributors, disadvantaged people and poor pupils across the country.

During the 10th event, besides the art performance highlighting the images of Vietnamese mothers, the bravery of the nation for independence and freedom, and the nation’s tribute to the heroes, reports about the lives of wounded soldiers and beneficiaries’ families and activities in presenting gifts and savings books in some localities by the organizing committee were also on display.

In the future, organizers will continue to maintain payment of gratitude activities, and encourage the continued participation of organizations and individuals./.
