USD320 billion for solar energy battery production

An inauguration ceremony took place on November 27th at the Quang Chau Industrial Zone in Viet Yen district, the northern province of Bac Giang, to start the project producing solar energy batteries by JA Solar Vietnam Company, with an investment capital of USD320 million in the first three years.

The project is expected to reach a turnover of USD500 million per year.
JA Solar, one of the largest projects in the Quang Chau Industrial Zone, will create jobs for over 3,000 labourers, contributing to make Bac Giang province one of the localities with strong foreign investment attraction in the nation.
The JA Solar Group has established eight production plants all over the world to provide power products for countries in Europe, America and Japan.
Last year, its turnover was reported at USD2.15 billion and its staff reached over 22,000./.
