Vietnam reports 15th case of nCoV

Vietnam on February 11th reported an additional 1 case testing positive for the novel corona virus (nCoV), bringing the total number of infections in Vietnam so far to 15, the Ministry of Health reported.

The latest case is a 3-month-old girl in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, who was identified as infected from patient Nguyen Thi Du, 23 years old. Du has been cured and discharged from hospital.

The girl and her mother are now isolated in a medical foundation and in stable condition.

She is the 10th person in Vinh Phuc province to be infected with nCoV, and the 5th person who has cross-infection in the country. Of the 10 cases in Vinh Phuc province, 3 have been discharged from hospital and 7 are being treated.

Additional 3 cases in the country were also cured and have been discharged from hospital on February 10th.

Globally, as of February 10th, 43,100 people have been infected with the virus, with over 1,000 fatalities, mainly in China. Nearly 30 countries and territories have reported cases./.
