The Vietnam National University of Agriculture has worked with Orion Group from the Republic of Korea (RoK) to inaugurate a disease-free potato seedling house using aeroponic technology integrated with technology 4.0.

The technologies allow the adjustment of temperature and humidity, and use solar energy to produce potatoes free from diseases, with the efficiency increasing by 25 times compared to  traditional seedlings.

Production of potato seedlings free of diseases uses aeroponic technology integrated with technology 4.0.

The potatoes grow fast and free from diseases.

Dr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, President of the Institute of Agricultural Biology under the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, introduces the technologies controlled by smartphones.

Temperature and humidity and the seedling growth indexes are updated continuously on a mobile application.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Thach, a leading expert on potatoes, gives an introduction of the model.
