Workers follow Uncle Ho’s teachings

Thanks to the campaigns, hundreds of technical solutions and initiatives have been adopted, encouraging workers and labourers to apply advanced science and technology into production; practice thrift; reduce fees, fuel and materials; and increase the quality of products. Many initiatives, when applied into production, benefit businesses hundreds of millions of VND.

Talking with Quang Ngai newspaper, Le Van Tim from the Quang Ngai provincial Sugar Company, said that following Uncle Ho’s style, workers should work hard, be punctual, and take pains to study for technical improvement.

Accordingly, Mr. Tim has worked out diverse initiatives that are supported by the company’s leaders. Notable is the initiative to reform sugarcane harvesting machines, contributing to mechanizing sugarcane production, thus saving fees and increasing productivity.

Engineer Luong Xuan Hung from the Quang Ngai provincial Urban Environment Company applies patience from Uncle Ho in working out effective initiatives. As a result, he has put forth diverse useful initiatives for applying in production. His outstanding initiative is the smart lighting which was applied across Quang Ngai city in terms of controlling the city public lighting system and traffic lights more economically and effectively.

According to Tran Van Thanh, President of the provincial Confederation of Labor, over the past years, studying and following Uncle Ho’s example has been considered an important task in ideological education among labourers and workers./.
