31st Golden Racket International Table Tennis Championship attracts strong rivals

Sponsored by Ton Dong A Corporation (specialized in producing and supplying premium galvanized steel sheet products), the event is part of the sport's ranking system of the International Table Tennis Federation.

As many as 86 athletes from India, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China), the Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam (12 men’s and 10 women’s teams) have registered to compete for this year’s tour. They will play in 4 categories, including men’s team, women’s team, men’s single and woman’s single.

Experts said that this is a good chance for local players to practice their professional skills, improving readiness for the upcoming 29th SEA Games in Malaysia this August.

The organizing board offers a total VND300 million for prizes, an increase of VND100 million in compared with the previous year, in which the winner of each team categories will pocket VND30 million while VND20 million in cash will be awarded to each individual events./.
