(CPV) - The day-long tour on June 25th contributed to promoting the image of the capital Hanoi to international friends, as well as connecting others via tennis.

Hosted by My Dinh-based Indoor Sports Competition Place, the Hanoi Friendship Tennis Tournament 2016 created an interesting sports and culture forum for foreign diplomats who are working in Hanoi to exchange with staff from Hanoi’s sports and culture sector and foreign affairs.
Nearly 40 international players from the Embassies of Canada, Cuba, the Netherlands, EU, Morocco, Mozambique, Russian Federation, Pakistan, France, Spain, Italy, and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Vietnam Office joined the event.
Mr Truong Minh Tien, Vice Head of Hanoi Department of Sports and Culture, expressed his warm welcome to international competitors, saying that the Hanoi Friendship Tennis Tournament 2016 is part of the foreign affairs action plan of the capital, fostering friendships between Hanoi and foreign diplomacy agencies./.
