Head of Vietnamese delegation at 29th SEA Games encourages national men’s and women’s football teams

(CPV) - Mr Tran Duc Phan, Vice Head of General Department of Sports and Physical Training, Head of Vietnamese delegation at 29th SEA Games, on July 12th visited the national men’s and women’s football teams at the headquarters of Vietnam Football Federation.
Sharing challenges with the U22 national football squad, Mr Phan said that the race to conquer gold at the upcoming regional sporting event is really drastic, and hoped players and coaches would try their best efforts in practice and competition.
The General Department Sports and Physical Training should create favourable conditions for teams, thus helping them to meet expectations from tens of millions of fans.
The two head coaches Nguyen Huu Thang (men’s team) and Mai Duc Chung (women’s team) both thanked the General Department of Sports and Physical Training for its consideration, and believed their students would play whole-heartedly, contributing to the final results of the Vietnamese sports delegation./.
