Hanoi high school basketball team
From July 19th-30th, this province will host eight events including swimming, table-tennis, badminton, basketball, shuttle cock, Pencak Silat, Vovinam, and men’s football (elementary and secondary). While athletes will travel to the Central Nghe An province to compete for athletics, chess, volleyball, women’s and men’s football (high school), Taekwondo, Karatedo, gymnastics, and push sticks.
The opening (August 1st) and closing (August 10th) ceremonies will be also hosted by Nghe An province.
Judo, pétanque, crossbow and men’s free style are absent in this year’s event.
In the women’s basketball (high school) event, the seven teams, including Hanoi, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh city, Yen Bai, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa and Da Nang, compete in a round-robin format.
There are 15 teams playing in men’s basketball, in the four groups. Hanoi’s rivals are Cao Bang, Binh Thuan and Bac Giang provinces.
Competing in all events of the tour, the Hanoi capital team aims to rank 2nd position./.
