(CPV) - Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam, 20, jumped up four places in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) men’s singles rankings.
Nam advanced to the 462nd position, representing the best ranking in his career and the highest a Vietnamese player has ever ranked.
Currently, he has generated 82 points. From now to the end of 2017, the target of approaching Top 400 is in his hand if he maintains his manner and excellent performances at the international professional tours.
In Southeast Asia alone, Hoang Nam tops at ATP men’s singles rankings, following by Thai player Wishaya Trongcharoenchaikul in the 578th position.
His friend of the same age from Hanoi, Trinh Linh Giang, has also improved eight places, resting at the 1,330th position, while Nguyen Hoang Thien (22 years old) jumped four places to 1,431./.
