Seven Vietnamese gymnasts will compete in the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships to be held in Canada on October 2nd.

The participating athletes include Pham Phuoc Hung, Dinh Phuong Thanh, Le Thanh Tung, Dang Nam, Do Vu Hung and Nguyen Tuan Dat.
“Vietnam is sending its best team to the championship. We will try our best to clear the qualifying round and reach the final,” said coach Truong Minh Sang.
“Among these players, the highest expectations are from Tung. The 22-year-old won an Asian gold medal and three gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games, which concluded in Malaysia last month,” Sang added.
The tournament will draw 500 athletes from 80 countries and territories./.
