Almost 145,000 tourists visit Quang Binh during Tet holiday

The central province of Quang Binh greeted nearly 145,000 tourist arrivals to relics and attractions during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, a 33% rise from the previous Tet, said Mr. Tran Xuan Quang, Head of the Office of the provincial Department of Tourism.

The most favoured sites are Phong Nha cave, Thien Duong cave, Chay river - Dark cave, Memorial Temple relics of the heroic martyrs Road 20 - Quyet Thang and Tam Co cave, Hoang Phuc pagoda, Lieu Hanh Mother Goddess temple, or Than Dinh mountain.

Specifically, almost 47,000 tourists visited to the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Vung Chua - Dao Yen (Swallow island).

The province also organized many activities such as celebrating New Year’s Eve, Spring and Tet visit in accordance with Vietnamese tradition, and Tet village in Phong Nha - Ke Bang; bringing interesting experiences for tourists./.
